What are the prerequisites for the CISO Certification?

To sit for the exam after taking training, candidates must have five years of experience in three of the five CCISO Domains verified via the Exam Eligibility Application. Candidates who do not yet meet the CCISO requirements but are interested in information security management can pursue the EC-Council Information Security Management (EISM) certification.

How will the CISO Certification benefit me?

CCISO is aimed at information security executives who aspire to become CISOs. They use to improve their skills and learn to align the information security plan with the business goals and objectives. The plan also encourages existing CISO to improve their technical and management skills, as well as business procedures. 

What can I achieve after acquiring the CCISO Certification?

CCISO aims to bridge the gap between the executive management knowledge required by CISOs and the technical knowledge that many aspiring CISOs possess. This can be a critical gap when professionals are struggling to transition from a middle management role to a high-level executive management role. Most of this content is traditionally learned in on-the-job training, but the CCISO training program can be the key to a successful transition to the highest level of information security management. The Certified Information Security Director certification is also the Department of Defense Directive 8570/8140 approval reference certification.
